Mironovo Partners with swimmingpyramid to build Web 2.0 Business Application Platform

SAN FRANCISCO, August 2007 - swimmingpyramid, inc announced today it has been awarded the contract to develop Mironovium - the core product offering of Mironovo Inc; an angel funded silicon valley startup. Acting as both technology consultants and the engineering team, swimmingpyramid will work closely with Mironovo’s Management Team to develop and ready the Mironovium service for launch.

“Mironovium is a platform for rapidly building web based business applications” said Joe Kiernan of swimmingpyramid. “The primary drivers of any business application are to get, store, retrieve, and modify data. It’s data that follows business process rules. Mironovium will essentially allow for the rapid creation of these business systems through an intuitive, slick Web 2.0 interface and deliver them to the intended users through the SaaS delivery model. It’s a web application for building web applications.”

Software as a service (SaaS) is a software application delivery model where a software vendor develops a web-native software application and hosts and operates the application for use by its customers over the Internet.

“The Mironovo partnership is another example where swimmingpyramid has been entrusted with a great deal of intellectual proprietary and responsibility for delivery” Kiernan continued. “Start-ups are finding that one of their largest risk areas is finding the right talent. These risks grow exponentially when there are specific delivery dates that the company wants to meet. We help mitigate these risks while bringing a deep understanding of technology to the project.”

swimmingpyramid was chosen for it’s proven track record in developing and delivering Enterprise Class Web applications that are better in terms of robustness, security, scalability, extensibility, and are faster to market.
